Wayne is courted and flattered by the owner of the firm, Bernt Van Der
Lyrck, including visits to some of Hong Kong's more luxurious
nightclubs and houses of ill repute. It's there that he meets the
breathtakingly beautiful Tan, a concubine working for Van Der Lyrck as
an erotic lure. Wayne falls in love with her, just as Van Der Lyrck
planned. He also plans for Tan to cloud Wayne's judgement to enable Van
Der Lyrck to take advantage of the business proposal Wayne is offering.
But Wayne is smarter than he looks, and negotiates a shrewd deal that
puts him in control of the venerable commercial firm, and in possession
of Tan, whose contract he buys out to give the seductress her freedom
again.
